This set features features three collectible silver coins, 1928 Standing Liberty Quarter, 1944 Walking Liberty Half Dollar, and an 1881 Morgan Silver Dollar.

The Standing Liberty Quarter was minted in Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco from 1916 to 1930.  In 1917 there was a modification to cover Liberty's exposed breast.  The coin was designed by Hermon A. MacNeil.  It weighs 6.25 grams and is made of .900 silver and .100 copper.

The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was minted from 1916 to 1947 in Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco.  It weighs 12.5 grams, is .900 silver, .100 copper.  It was designed by Adolph A. Weinman.

The Morgan Silver Dollar was designed by George T. Morgan, formally a student of William Wyon of the Royal Mint in London.  It was minted from 1878 to 1904.  In 1904 the demand for the coin was low and the silver bullion supply became exhausted.  Over 270 million coins were melted.  Later, in 1921, coinage resumed.  Starting in December of 1921 the new Peace Dollars were struck.  They were placed in circulation on January 3, 1922.

Each coin is protected in its own coin holder which fits perfectly in the display case.  The coins can easily be removed from the display for better viewing.

This silver coin set really stands out visually and will draw attention where ever it's displayed.  All three coins are in great shape and sure to be admired by everyone who sees them.
